CURRICULUM CONSULTING & DEVELOPMENT
I have over 10 years of experience building and developing curriculum, and as a Reading Specialist
I love to create reading, writing, and thematic units, which incorporate as many subjects as
possible on a single topic. If you are homeschooling and not sure if the depth and breadth of the
curriculum you are using is meeting all of your student’s needs,
contact me for a CURRICULUM CONSULTATION.
$75/hr
If you are noticing gaps in your child’s learning that your curriculum
is not addressing, you may need supplemental instruction and/or materials to help
close these learning gaps. If you would like professional help with this,
contact me for CURRICULUM DEVELOPMENT.

NOW ENROLLING FOR 26-27 SCHOOL YEAR
SINGLE SUBJECT INSTRUCTION
This option is to supplement a
homeschool curriculum or provide extra
help for a student who is struggling or wants to advance in a particular area.
Classes will be held in my home.
ELA only: Mon.-Thur. 9-11:30am $425/mo
Math only: Mon.-Thur. 1-3pm $350/mo
Tutoring by appointment: $50/hr
*Discount is provided for paying by semester or by year.
FULL CURRICULUM INSTRUCTION
This option is available to K-5 students and includes small group instruction in reading, writing, math, science, and social studies. A thematic, cross-curricular approach will be taken with explicit instruction being used to supplement as needed.
Classes will be held Monday through Thursday from 9am-3pm in my home and cost $825/month.

Currently, there are none on the schedule, but possible future offerings could include making homemade muffins, cookies, cakes, fudge, etc. showing children real life application of reading, science, and math!

ABOUT ME
Hello! My name is Jennifer Jenkins, and I have been an educator for 20 years. Teaching is my passion, but working for 11 years in public school, I progressively felt that passion waning more and more with each passing year. I became disheartened and frustrated with overcrowding, poor administration, and lack of consequences for poor behavior, resources, teacher support, and time to give each student what they really needed. I have created an environment where my students enjoy learning, I enjoy teaching, and I have the flexibility to really meet the needs of every student that I serve. I want my students to feel safe, cared for, encouraged, supported, and that their needs are being met. Teaching in this smaller environment, I am able to get to know my students and their families better and meet their needs in a more effective way.
